Dr. Wing graduated from Loma Linda University. He later worked there as an associate faculty member in their Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and also taught in their undergraduate Oral Surgery department for two years. Dr.Wing has been recognized for superior ability in Oral Surgery by the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University and also received an award from the Department of Oral Implantology for research in correcting osseous defects around implants and the use of BMP to correct defects. He has been on staff for multiple hospitals throughout San Diego treating medically compromised patients and has an extensive background in cosmetic dentistry, prosthetics, full mouth reconstruction and surgery.
Dr. Wing is passionate about technology and its application in daily practice and has lectured across the country on the application of Cone Beam and CAD/CAM technologies. He is also trained in the latest techniques for placing dental implants and the use of guided implant surgery.
Dr. Wing was in private practice in La Jolla, CA. for 10 years before moving to the mountains of Colorado. He was in private practice in the Vail Valley for 10 years at Eagle Valley Dental before returning to the beautiful Lake Norman area when he acquired Birkdale Dental, formerly known as Landmark Dental, located in Huntersville. Dr. Wing enjoys time with his wife Amy and 4 their children, Emily, Juanita, Morgan and Harrison. He also enjoys time on the lake and tinkering with anything that has a motor.
Dr. Wing is excited to be practicing in the Lake Norman area and serves his patients with compassion and love. He knows that there is no job too small or too big for his dental team and is ready to resolve any of your dental issues. He provides comprehensive dental services including general and cosmetic dentistry, root canals, oral surgery, Invisalign, guided implant placement and bone grafting.
